Carol McClure - Founder

Who knew working at a frame shop in California would turn into a 40+ year family business? When Carol started work at a local framer, she ended up taking on a partner to buy the business and added to it over the years. Home accessories, antiques, gifts, and the rest is history! Moving to Georgia from Southern California in the early 90’s, she decided to keep the business going. Almost 3 decades later, they are as strong as ever with a stellar in-house design team (who just happen to be her daughter and daughter-in-law!).

Alison Baker - Lead Designer

California born and raised, and graduate of the CIDA accredited Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach, California, Alison has been an interior designer for three decades. After graduating, she worked for a high-end residential developer/builder/architect. This is where her love of the architectural details and millwork began. In 1995, she began her own firm within Accentrics and hasn't looked back. Moving from the west to the east coast, she is now has an Atlanta-based firm but caters to clients around the globe.

"It is very important to me that all my clients receive a totally personal design. This is accomplished with a juxtaposition of texture, color, and furnishings. Whenever possible, I design original pieces to complete this effect."

A testament to Alison's work is when clients return to her for their second and third homes. Specializing in new-builds and renovations allows her to put her incredible technical background to use and allows the design to follow the architecture.

Laney McClure - Designer

Laney grew up in Savannah with a love for art and all things design. She found herself at UGA studying marketing instead, but eventually took a leap of faith and followed her passion into the theatre obtaining a Masters in Costume Design. As luck would have it, Laney settled in Atlanta and ended up marrying Carol’s son, Cullen, who introduced her to the family business. It was a natural fit to join the Accentrics team and put her design skills to good use. Laney uses her love of textiles to inspire her at the start of every job by gathering fabrics to set a mood for the whole project. Cullen and Laney have two wonderful daughters, Emma and Gracie, and two lovable rescue pups named Toby and Sadie.
