Carol McClure - Founder

Who knew working at a frame shop in California would turn into a 40+ year family business? When Carol started work at a local framer, she ended up taking on a partner to buy the business and added to it over the years. Home accessories, antiques, gifts, and the rest is history! Moving to Georgia from Southern California in the early 90’s, she decided to keep the business going. Almost 3 decades later, they are as strong as ever with a stellar in-house design team (who just happen to be her daughter and daughter-in-law!).

Alison Baker - Lead Designer

California born and raised, and graduate of the CIDA accredited Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach, California, Alison has been an interior designer for three decades. After graduating, she worked for a high-end residential developer/builder/architect. This is where her love of the architectural details and millwork began. In 1995, she began her own firm within Accentrics and hasn't looked back. Moving from the west to the east coast, she is now has an Atlanta-based firm but caters to clients around the globe.

"It is very important to me that all my clients receive a totally personal design. This is accomplished with a juxtaposition of texture, color, and furnishings. Whenever possible, I design original pieces to complete this effect."

A testament to Alison's work is when clients return to her for their second and third homes. Specializing in new-builds and renovations allows her to put her incredible technical background to use and allows the design to follow the architecture.

Laney McClure - Designer

Growing up with a love of art and fashion, but knowing she may need more in the industry than just passion, she majored in Marketing at the University of Georgia. Still not being able to shake her love of the arts, she got a Masters in Theatre learning costume, set design and lighting. Working as a prop stylist for a few years, she ended up marrying into the most amazing family who owned a home design shop. It was a natural fit to join this team and make this a true family business. Laney puts her love of textiles to good use and starts every job by gathering inspiring fabrics to set a mood for the whole project.”
